HR Hot Topics – July 2020: Taking Stock – What COVID has Taught Us
July 14, 2020Hello Leaders!
Welcome to the July edition of HR Hot Topics - a monthly video message from me, Jodi Schafer, that contains employment law updates and human resources tips to make you the most effective leader you can be. We strive for this to be the 'most informative 5 minutes of your month'!
First things first – Will is back! You’ll notice a more professional quality to my video this month as Will Carlson and I were able to connect again after months of quarantine and social distancing. This month’s message is a ‘look back’ of sorts. While COVID had certainly been disruptive, it’s also provided us with an opportunity to reassess and reprioritize the way in which we work. I’d like to share with you five key lessons that I have taken from this pandemic in the hopes that you too will be able to grow from this adversity, making lemonade from lemons – even if you need to add a splash of vodka to make it through 😉
