According to a recent SHRM article while, “Most U.S. workers say they are comfortable with workplace romances and would respect co-workers involved in one,” the majority are not interested in pursuing a workplace romance themselves. On the other hand, creating meaningful friendships in the workplace has overwhelming support from workers and HR leaders alike! Having a close friend at work has been shown to positively impact morale, job satisfaction, and engagement in statistically significant ways.
