Welcome to 2021! This year has already gotten off to an eventful start and the issues that employers must grapple with in the workplace show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. In this month’s episode I continue the conversation on coronavirus vaccines. Now that both Pfizer and Moderna have received emergency use authorization from the FDA to distribute their vaccines in the U.S., employers, especially those in the healthcare industry, are having to address employee hesitancy and concern over the vaccines’ safety and efficacy. It is important to address these fears with factual, evidence-based information if we want voluntary vaccination numbers to be high enough to be reach herd immunity and halt the pandemic.
